Dear Parents and Players,

Over the last year or two the Board of Directors and our soccer directors have been exploring potential
opportunities to expand the club and grow its membership in order to develop a club that can accommodate
players at all levels to the full scope of soccer programs available to youth players for our local community. Our
most recent conversations over the past month or so resulted in our ability to reach terms with several
neighboring clubs that would allow us to provide these opportunities in a manner which will best serve all of our
members.

Therefore it is with great pleasure that West Metro Soccer Club would like to make the following
announcement…

Cobb FC, Kennesaw FC, West Georgia FC and West Metro SC have decided to join forces and create a new club
called "Southern Soccer Academy" (S.S.A.). This move is a positive step into the future of soccer development
within the Southeastern United States, because in addition to this new club formation, we have created an
alliance with BUSA, (Birmingham United Soccer Academy from AL). This alliance allows us to provide access to
the USDA (United States Development Academy) and the ECNL (Elite Clubs National League), which are the top
level programs within our current soccer pyramid. The USDA is for boys of the U16 and U18 age groups, and the
ECNL is for girls U14 thru U18.

The club hosted a "Town Hall Meeting" to explain to our members the new club plan and the exciting
future that awaits us as well as answer questions. This meeting was held at the Paulding County Community
Center on February 26th at 2PM.

This new venture is a positive step for soccer development within Paulding County and Georgia Soccer, and we
are excited that our club and our kids will be a part of it.
